MDS & Utilization Review for Long Term Care

This program train nurses who work in post-acute facilities to meet standards for federal and state reimbursement. The enrollees learn how to set RUG levels for each resident ensuring the facility is getting accurate, and maximum reimbursement. This nurse is responsible for data collection and management to develop efficient treatment plans and activities by gathering patients' information and input into an electronic portal system. The MDS Coordinator continuously monitor, evaluate, and manage the care given to residents.
